The waiting drags on.

Wednesday 26th March

Had the MRI yesterday.  The plan was to go back for the results on Friday but Emma called this afternoon.  She had left a message on my phone to call her back, but when I called she was busy and so I was asked if I would like to stay on the line as she would only be a couple of minutes.  I waited on the line for 25.  Torture.  You can imagine what was going through my head, it turns out my thoughts were correct.

The MRI has shown that there are three areas in my boob.  I didn't ask and she didn't say, but I know this means its coming off.  The other news is that the MRI shows that there is another mass in my other boob too.  To be honest I knew this already as I found a little lump in it a few nights ago. I didn't mention this to anyone as I knew it would show up on the MRI, so thought I would wait for the results on Friday.

I now have to go for yet another biopsy tomorrow.  I don't really see the point of this as its obvious what it is isn't it.  My appointment for Friday has been cancelled and I will go back on Monday for the results instead.

Emma said she will try to get me in to see the Consultant tomorrow for a chat. If I do get to see her I will be asking her to just give me a date to take them both off.  I really don't see the point of waiting for the biopsy results. I don't know if this is up to me but I will argue my point.  If its good enough for Angelina........

At least if they both come off and I have reconstruction they will both look the same, in fact I think I would prefer this as shallow as that may sound.
