The C Word

We will all be watching The C Word on Sunday 3rd May, BBC 1 at 8:30pm right?

Sheridan Smith will be playing Lisa Lynch, a young lady who like me, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and decided to write a blog about it.

I read extracts of Lisa's blog whilst I was going through treatment. A really talented writer who was brutally honest, yet hilarious at the same time. Lisa was also an active member of YBCN (the on-line support group I used). I hope it gets a mention, we shall see.

Perhaps watching The C Word will give you more of an insight into what I have been through, I dunno. I'm really looking forward to watching it, although I know there will be tears throughout. 

Like I said I have read most of Lisa's blog, I therefore know her story. I won't spoil it for you. Watch it, right!!
